Cranberry Ginger Immunity Shot

I had a crap load of fresh cranberries and a sore throat that’s been lingering for over a week, so this is what I came up with. I’m aiming for one to two a day. Let the magic begin!

Cranberry Ginger Immunity Shot

1/4 cup fresh cranberries

1/2 – 1 inch chunk fresh ginger

2-3 sprigs fresh parsley

1/2 lemon (juice only)

1 tsp honey

1/4 cup filtered water (add more if necessary)

Blend all ingredients and pour into a small glass.

Warning! This puts a tequila shot to shame so take small sips and feel the heat of the ginger work its magic.

  1. I love, love ginger, and I like the idea of using cranberries, a fruit I’ve never used in smoothies before. This feels like a good Fall smoothie recipe I’ll have to try. Thx!
