Cranberry & Spirulina Smoothie

Cranberry & Spirulina Smoothie

1 cup frozen kale

1 cup frozen broccoli 

1/2 cup fresh cranberries

1/2 avocado

1/4 tsp. spirulina

1/2 – 1 cup filtered water

1 scoop vanilla protein powder (recommended: PurePaleo from Designs for Health) OR other – optional but recommended if using a smoothie as a meal replacement. 

Tip: if you do not use the above protein powder, you can add 1/4 tsp. of stevia, some honey, or half a ripe banana to balance out the bitterness of the veggies and cranberries.
