Easy Green Smoothie with Protein

Are you looking for an easy way to fill your body with nutrient-rich fuel that’ll keep you feeling energized for the busy day and week a head?

If your lifestyle is anything like mine then you don’t always have time to fill your fridge and freezer with green goodness – and even if it’s full, you may not have time to prepare your greens.

That’s where a high-quality greens powder comes to the rescue. My fridge and freezer might not always be stocked with greens, BUT my cupboard is!

PaleoGreens has come to my rescue on many occasions, including when …

  • I’m in a rush and need to prep my smoothie fast
  • I’m low on energy
  • I feel a cold coming on
  • I’m super lazy, but still want to fuel myself with good stuff
  • I’m looking to cleanse and detox

Here’s what makes this organic greens powder top in its class …

Fruits: High-antioxidant berries, such as cranberry, raspberry, and blueberry + camu camu which is high in Vitamin C
Sulfur-rich cruciferous vegetables + sprouts: Broccoli, kale, cauliflower, collards
Colorful and high phytonutrient vegetables: Beet, carrot, tomato, spinach
Detox Greens & Juices: Spirulina, chlorella, barley grass and wheat grass juice powders — high in antioxidants and great for detox
ORAC Blend: Proprietary blend of grape seed and grape skin extracts, with guaranteed high ORAC (oxygen radical absorption capacity) content. The ORAC score is a measurement of a food’s potential for neutralizing the damaging free radicals implicated in aging and physical degeneration.

PaleoGreens is superior to many commercially available greens powders for several reasons:

  • Over 90% organic ingredients
  • No grain/legumes fibers or components, least allergenic
  • No alfalfa, a common ingredient in all other leading brands
  • Special gentle processing that retains potency
  • Proven ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbency Capacity) value
  • Great taste, with no added sugar

Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Smoothie (Dairy Free, Paleo)

DID YOU KNOW? Peppermint oil has been shown to be effective at naturally treating irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Studies show that peppermint oil reduces spasms in the colon, relaxes the muscles of your intestines, and can help to reduce bloating and gassiness.

To help relieve IBS symptoms, try:

  • Adding 1–2 drops of peppermint essential oil to your smoothie (check out my recipe below).
  • Adding 1–2 drops of peppermint essential oil into a glass of water or capsule and take before meals.
  • Applying 2–3 drops of peppermint essential oil (along with a carrier oil) topically to your abdomen.

Cranberry Orange Immunity Boost (AIP, Paleo, Plant-Based)

Cranberry Orange Immunity Boost (AIP, Paleo, Plant-Based)

Is your immune system in need of a boost? This Cranberry Orange Immunity Boost is the perfect drink to support a strong immune system during cold and flu season (and all year round). Loaded with whole food forms of vitamin C, antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, PLUS antibacterial & antiviral properties.

Most people turn straight to vitamin C after they’ve caught a cold. That’s because it helps build up your immune system. Vitamin C, which is found in oranges, is thought to increase the production of white blood cells, which are key to fighting infections.

Cranberries are another source of vitamin C, plus vitamins K, A and strong antioxidants. These all work to boost the immune system, working against cardiovascular disease and inflammation.

Additionally, ginger is another great ingredient that may help decrease inflammation, which can help reduce a sore throat and inflammatory illnesses.

Check out what one of my followers had to say about this immune system booster:

“Thank you for this recipe Jennifer. It was my go to drink during chemotherapy. When my white blood cell count was low and the docs told me I may not be able to do chemo, I started to drink this and boom – my WBC count went up and I was able to do the next round of chemo. I never missed a round of chemo with this drink. Thank you for this.” – Carla
