A little bit about the work I do

For those interested in my educational background and current area of work, here it is…

I graduated from the University of Toronto with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Health. From there I went on to complete a Business Management program at Ryerson University. School was great and taught me a lot, but I have to say the bulk of my learning began when I jumped into the real world and got my hands dirty.

In 2011, I co-founded Healthletica Hot Yoga + Wellness and have been an active player in this business ever since. Within and outside of Healthletica, I am a Lifestyle, Movement & Nutrition Coach.

My passion and focus are currently on a program I designed called the Lifestyle Change Program. Together, with my motivated and committed clients, we have been able to create inspiring success stories with this program. My plan is to continue developing this program with the goal of reaching more people and helping them with their journey back to health.

Lastly, in attempt to promote healthy living and the use of safe, natural products, I have ventured into the skin care world and created an anti-aging facial oil called Youthful Glow. I started this project in 2015 and have shared this product with many since. The results have been amazing and Youthful Glow is spreading fast.

More about my blog

I started this blog back in 2012 with the intention of sharing my food creations with personal clients who always seemed interested in what I ate. Since then I have attempted to develop this blog into something more than just postings of my food. As a Lifestyle, Movement & Nutrition Coach, I can’t help but realize there is so much at play when we are trying to achieve optimal health. Food is a large part of the equation and it has been a very powerful driving force in my journey back to health, but we need to address other parts of the equation in order to make it whole and complete.

My intentions for this blog are to educate you and inspire you to take small steps towards healthy lifestyle changes that can truly impact your life and those closes to you. My blog will address multiple areas of health including, but not limited to, diet, sleep, movement, stress management, detoxification and supplement management.

By addressing and improving these areas, we turn on our body’s innate healing system and find that many ailments and imbalances begin to correct themselves. It’s unfortunate, but we live in a toxic world that has caused many of the health challenges faced by people today, including cancer, heart disease, autoimmune disorders, diabetes, skin problems, joint pain, digestive issues, mood instability, sleep disturbances, anxiety, depression, weight gain and the list goes on. None of the above states or conditions are normal for the body nor are many of them a normal part of the aging process. Just because something is common does not make it normal. Lucky for us, the body truly is a remarkable creation that has the ability to heal itself and regain balance when we give it what it needs and align our lives with what we were designed for.
