Lemon Ginger Tea

INGREDIENTS: (4-5 servings)
1 lb fresh ginger root
1.5 liters filtered water
2-3 lemons
Honey (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Bring pot of water to a boil.

2. Peel and finely grate ginger. Add to boiling water.

3. Let boil for 5 minutes then bring to a simmer for 20 minutes.

4. Strain ginger tea into a mason jar using a fine mesh sifter. Let cool then store in the fridge.

For a cup of hot lemon ginger tea: Heat 3/4 cup of ginger tea in a pot, pour into mug and squeeze in 1/2 a lemon. Add 1 tsp honey if desired.

INGREDIENTS: (serves 4)
8 pastured eggs
8 slices pastured bacon
Sea salt and black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Cook bacon half way through on stove-top.
3. Wrap inside of muffin tin with one strip of bacon per muffin.
4. Crack one egg into each spot lined with bacon.
5. Season with sea salt and black pepper.
6. Bake in oven for 15-minutes.
7. Remove with spoon, plate and enjoy!
